Week 6 - Head Bitch In Charge

Leaving Week 5

I am still kind of in shock about what happened last week.

Jeff makes his nominations of Jordan and Jase, and as predicted there is an explosion. Jeff and Jase duked it out for a bit. But was not predicted was that Jase would turn out to be a pansy-ass grade A douchebag. Seriously, after he gets nominated after getting beat FAIR AND SQUARE in an HoH, and all of the sudden the game is rigged? Ugh get over yourself Jase. I may be bitchy with a lot of people for seemingly trivial reasons, but for the most part that is kinda for fun. The one thing that legitimately bugs me is when people quit these games because they are losing. Pathetic.

Jordan and Jeff also had a big argument. I don't really care. I am sure that other people do, but it is really nothing I am concerned about. As far as Jordan is concerned, I DO like her, but when I need to drop her I will drop her.

HoH



OMG I LOVED the challenge. Finally, I have something concrete to show for the effort I am putting into this game. I totally dominated everyone from what I could tell. It stunned me that people did not have the sense to save their best answers for last. Getting second place in this challenge means nothing.

Anyways, I submitted a 24 letter word and it won by 13 letters (meaning it was over double the size of Jordan's word).

Also, credit to Jeff, who didn't try and take the victory from me (not that I think he could have, this time).

Anyways, after 3 Jeff HoHs, a Renny HoH and a Jase HoH, Roddy is finally in control around here. And he is safe until final 8 for sure.

Nominations

I am kinda sitting in a place where I am going to have to begin to draw battle lines. I am the first person to send someone to the jury house, so this week is gonna have a lot of implications for me down the line. I am gonna piss someone off no matter what I do. Great.

The people who I absolutely will not nominate this week are Jeff, Lydia, Jordan and Chima (obviously). The first three are the people I get along with best. The last is the person I literally have no relationship with, but can't nominate. That means that my nominations are going to come from a pool of Kevin, Monica, James and Renny. In reality I would really rather not nominate Renny. I think my best shot is to nominate Monica and James because they are supposed to be a couple. That is the justification that I will use, anyways.

Monica is someone I basically have no relationship with. James is sketchy, and as much as he wouldn't be my number one choice to get rid of, he would be option number 2 or 3 after Monica. So if he goes he goes. He is just fake and annoying.

So I feel that last post did not do justice to just how stoked I am about this week. Being HoH is always such a good feeling. And I won by such a large margin. *takes a moment to bask in his own glory*

Up until this point in the game I have been playing a pretty damn shady game, and I have been able to accomplish a fair amount but it has mostly been from the sidelines. Winning the HoH really upped the anti for me. Having HoH has at the beginning of the of the jury phase really sets things into motion – I am very happy to be safe right now.

This week is already reeking of success for Roddy.

Nominations

Going into this week I was a little bit worried about how I was gonna make things work. But I nominated Monica and James, and I haven't even really received backlash from it yet.

James is all worried that I secretly want him out. But he's wrong, I mean, he is right that yeah I do want him out and I am lying to him and being very fake with him and fucking over his game entirely, but I don't particularly want him out over Monica. I just don't care if he stays or not. 

Monica continues to do nothing.

My rationale in my nomination speech was spot on and exactly what the house needed to hear. But it is not really why I nominated those two – the reason is that I am trying to break up a division. If either Monica or James leaves I will be happy. If one gets veto, and one of Kevin or Renny leaves, I am just as happy. So as you can tell this week is a victory for me no matter what. I just want to ensure that Jeff, Lydia, Chima and I are the only people with the protection of a division.

It has also been nice that I haven’t had to pressure anyone for votes because I really don’t care. It makes it seem like I am not using people for their vote. But if your name isn’t Jeff, Jordan or Lydia then I am 100% using you for your vote.

Veto Challenge

So veto is posted, and immediately I am pretty stoked. I don’t really care about the veto this week. I am fine with anyone winning it and changing the nominations. I mean yeah, I want them to stay the same but not at the expense of those precious prizes.

So I started to think. How can I work this to my advantage. Jeff suggested the idea of bidding 100 on certain items, but I was concerned about the possibility of a cancellation of the prizes, and having them possibly going to people on the opposite side who bid low. But from Jeff’s idea I devised an elaborate scheme. And that scheme is ¾ implemented at the moment.

The plan is that I offer three people complete safety for the week, and between the four of us, each of us bids 100 on one particular item. We ignore the vote nullification entirely. Now I know this seems like a kind of obvious plan, but there is a subtle beauty to it.

First of all, the potential prizes fit perfectly for the four people I wanted to align with anyways (Jordan, Jeff and Lydia). Jeff and Lydia are both completely comfortable with a Lydia HoH, so it only makes sense that she takes the challenge advantage. Also, Jeff and I have promised to help her in the HoH, in order to secure her the position. Jeff is gonna go for the silver power of veto so that he could potentially use it on me if Lydia went haywire. And I am going for the SECRET BOX! OMG I want a power SO BAD!

But like I said, it is only ¾ complete. I still need to get Jordan on board. I don’t see why she would decline the idea, because if the plan succeeds then she is guaranteed final 7 – we are gonna try and get her the cryogenic freeze thing. But she might not want to work with Jeff. I will have to work my magic.

SO if this plan goes successfully then I have stacked the house so that I and my three allies are extremely likely to make final 7. And on top of that, I am possibly entering the scenario with a power. I mean, maybe this is a red hearing and the mystery box is shit, but whatever.

I figure the worst case scenario is if the mystery box is actually a negative thing and I end up with a penalty nomination, and then Jeff can just use the veto on me.
