Houseguests, the power is up for grabs.
Tonight’s Competition is called “What Lies Ahead.”
All of you are eligible to compete in this event, with the exception of Jeff. Jeff won the COLD ENOUGH FOR YOU? item and will now be cryogenically frozen for one round. This means that he cannot participate in the HOH or Veto competition and he cannot cast a vote this week. However, he is immune from being a nominee.
In this HOH competition, we will take a sneak peak at how the rest of this season will play out. You will be playing in a miniature version of Big Brother, complete with HOH and Veto Competitions, nominations and evictions, a jury vote, and a winner.
Here is how a round will work:
I will ask you a question pertaining to an Evicted Houseguest. The answer will be one of the following: LIBRA, ALEX, RUSSELL, MONICA, or NONE OF THE ABOVE.
You must type "BUZZ!" (it must be typed exactly like that!) to buzz in to answer the question. The first person to buzz in will get to answer. If he or she gets it wrong, we will move on to the next to buzz in. If you buzz in and answer incorrectly, you may not buzz in a second time for that question.
The first person to buzz in and correctly answer the first question will win HOH and will have 30 seconds to announce his or her nominations in the chat.
Then, I will ask a second question, still pertaining to an evicted Houseguest. The first person to buzz in and answer correctly will win the Veto and will have 30 seconds to announce his or her decision in the chat. If the Veto is used, the HOH will have to immediately name a replacement.
After the Veto decision has been made, you will all have 30 seconds to vote someone out of the HOH competition. You will vote privately by IMing me. The nominee who receives the most votes against him or her will be eliminated from the Competition. In the event of a tie, the HOH will break it by announcing his or her decision publically in the chat.
In this competition, you are allowed to win consecutive HOHs, and everyone is eligible to play for the Veto. Even though you are still competing in 5 branches of the military, you will be allowed to nominate whoever you want in this competition and you will not be required to use the Veto on your partner.
The final HOH Competition will consist of 3 parts—there will be one question and the first to buzz in and answer correctly will move on to Part 3. Then, the 2 losers will face off to see who will join Part 1's winner in the final round. The winner of Part 3 will get to choose his or her final 2 partner.
When we reach the final 2, all eliminated players will vote on a winner. If you must leave before the competition is over, please IM me a voting order. Rank the Houseguests remaining from who you would most like to see win to who you would least like to see win. If the final vote is a tie, the finalists will be given another question. The first of the 2 to buzz in and answer correctly will win HOH.
Lydia won the HOH BONUS at the last Veto competition. Her bonus is that for the first round of the competition, she will be immune from being a nominee, either before or after the Veto is used.
Will this competition give you some insight as to how the rest of the season will play out? In Season 1, Rachel won this competition and then went on to win the whole game. Again, in Season 2, Nathan won this competition and he took home the prize as well.
Good luck, Houseguests.
